apparently this was very dramatic and too much work, so she said “this is ridiculous. i’m just going to go right here in the section.”
i said “ok.” and walked away.
then she later yelled at a coworker and asked me for my name.
i told her, and she said thank you, and i said “my pleasure. have a magical night.”
sometimes it’s fun being fuckdiculously nice when guests are being assholes.
i had two guests tonight expect me to remember their faces and let them back in through my section (the reserved dining section aka the people who “paid for their tickets” so i can’t let other sections in there). like…seriously? THERE’S 27,000 PEOPLE IN THE PARK RIGHT NOW. I WILL NOT REMEMBER YOUR FACE. I MIGHT NOT EVEN BE HERE. GO GET A DAMN TICKET, YOU LAZY DOUCHEMUFFIN.
guys - be nice to the people who work at theme parks. especially disney. we have to smile as you yell at us about every little thing and can’t say anything back except “i’m sorry.”
ALSO. if you have an awesome cast member who helps you at disney/california adventures - tell guest relations. seriously. they pass those on to us and it’s sometimes the only thing that gets us through a terrible shift. it takes a few extra minutes, but it’s the nicest thing you can do for a cast member.
